Abstract:The modified of mutilayer graphene oxide(SMGO) was prepared by treating mutilayer graphene oxide with bis-(γ-triethoxysilylpropy)-tetrasulfide(Si69).The SMGO was characterized by FT-IR, UV, SEM. The SMGO/NR composites were prepared by mechanical mixing method. Mechanical properties and dynamic internal frictionof SMGO/NR compositeswere investigated and compared with those of MGO/NR composites.The results show that the parts of carboxyl of mutilayer graphene oxide are eliminated effectively by Si69. It is account for that the dispersity of mutilayer graphene oxide in NR is improved. Adding 2 phr SMGO, the tensile property of composites is increased by 57% and dynamic internal friction of composites is reduced by 21.4%.
