Poly (butylene succinate)(PBS)/nylon powders blending with different contents of nylon powder were prepared by solution blending method. The results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) show that the addition of nylon micropowder does not change the crystalline structure of PBS. And the crystallization behavior of PBS was further observed by polarizing microscope (POM), which show that nylon powder promotes the nucleation of PBS. Due to a large nucleation density, the crystals only grow in the direction perpendicular to the surface of powder. The contents of nylon powder do not change the crystal growth rate at the same temperature. With the increase of the content of nylon powder, the crystallization peak first moves to high temperature, then moves to low temperature, and the crystallinity decreases slightly as presented by DSC curves.
