Abstract:Organic ferroelectric polymer P(VDF-TrFE) is a derivative of poly(vinylidene fluoride), has widely application prospects in the field of electronic devices due to the good ferroelectric properties, chemical stability and flexibility. This article reviewed the origin of ferroelectricity of P(VDF-TrFE) and some of the factors affecting ferroelectric properties: TrFE molar fraction, film thickness, annealing temperature and electrode material. Besides, two typical thin film preparation methods and applications of ferroelectric thin films in electronic devices were reviewed. Finally, the research directions and development trends of organic ferroelectric thin films were proposed accordingly.
