Abstract:The recent research of co-cured damping composite structures was reviewed. It not only included co-curing process types of co-cured damping composite structures, the option range of viscoelastic damping materials, but also recommended fabrication processes of damping films, the structure and treatment of damping films. Furthermore, there were vast investigations concerning experimental methods, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis of epoxy resin matrix and bismaleimide resin matrix co-cured damping composites. Finally, the defects and future development trends of co-cured damping composites were prospected. It is indispensable to attach importance to the matters that demand to be researched and settled in the future, which has definite reference significance for further exploration of large damping and high stiffness composite structures.
