Abstract:In this paper, the microstructure of an amphiphilic polymer used in Daqing oilfield was studied using scanning electron microscope(SEM).The rheological properties of amphiphilic polymer were measured by MCR301 rheometer, and the effects of various metal ions on oilfield produced water were also investigated.Carreau model was used to fit rheological curves. The results show that the systematic viscosity decreases with the increase of Na+,K+,S2-concentrations,and η0 decreaseseither, however, increasing of Ca2+,Mg2+ concentrations,η0 shows an increase first and then decrease. The effects of temperature on viscosity of polymer solution were also studied.Below critical aggregation concentration(CAC),with increasing of concentration, the viscosity is more sensitive on temperature, however, which is contrary above CAC.
