Abstract:Temperature-sensitive polymer P(VCL-co-MAA) was synthesized in supercritical carbon dioxide. P(VCL-co-AA)/chitosan/ hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(P(VCL-co-MAA)/CS/HPMC) porous composite membranes with different ratio were prepared by solution blending method. The structure and properties of the membranes were characterized by IR, XRD, SEM. The results show that HPMC and CS in the crystalline region has a certain interaction, the crystallinity of blend membrane decreases. Temperature sensitive polymer P(VCL-co-MAA) and the film-forming biopolymer have a good compatibility, the pore structure of composite membrane is uniform. Water-absorbing swelling, water flux and mechanical properties of composite membrane were also evaluated. With the HPMC content increasing, the tensile strength, elongation at break and elastic modulus first increase and then decrease. When the mass ratio of CS and HPMC is 3∶1, the tensile strength of the composite membrane is 1.75MPa. The water flux of composite membrane decreases with the increase of temperature.
