Abstract:Polymeric micelle based nanomedicine has been successfully applied in clinical treatment of cancer; however its poor stability often leads to dissociation and premature drug release, and has been the greatest obstacle and severely restricts its anti-tumor efficacy. Many efforts have been devoted to improve the stability of polymer micelles, the strategies can be generally summarized as follows: firstly, physical crosslinking polymer micelles with stable cross-linking structures are prepared; the second is to build stable delivery platform based on polymeric prodrug micelles; finally, by polymer structure design, micelles with lower critical micelle concentration (CMC) or unimolecular micelle are prepared. In this paper, the research and progress about the stability of polymeric micelle based nanomedicine in recent years were reviewed.
