Abstract:By adding tetrabutylammonium hexafluorophosphate (TBAHP), an organic branching salt, to polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) spinning solution, PVDF tree-like nanofiber membrane was prepared by one-step electrospinning method. The effects of TBAHP addition, electrospinning process parameters and solvent volume ratio on the dendrite morphology of fibers were investigated. In addition, the effects of the amount of TBAHP on the mechanical properties, pore size and porosity of the fiber membrane were studied. The result shows that when the molar concentration of TBAHP is 0.05mol/L, the volume ratio of N, N-dimethylformamide: Acetone is 7:3, the voltage is 27kV, and the receiving distance is 12cm, the prepared nanofiber membrane has more branched fibers, showing obvious tree-like structure. The fracture stress of fiber membrane with obvious tree-like structure is 4.93 MPa which is much higher than 1.82 MPa of the pure PVDF nanofiber membrane, its pore size is only 2μm,and the porosity is 90%.The PVDF tree-like nanofiber membrane has broad applications in filtration, oil-water separation, membrane distillation and electrochemistry.
